The STJ Men's Basketball team took on the UMBC 'Retrievers' in an afternoon game held at Carnesecca Arena on Sunday, November 13. The 'Johnnies' played with great energy and achieved a win of 82-59; and, St. John's fans had double reason to celebrate because during the basketball game (which the Pep Band played for) we found out (it was announced) that the STJ Men's Soccer team had won the BIG EAST Championship game against UConn at the Red Bull Arena! It was truly an amazing day for Red Storm Sports, and I, and my fellow Pep Band members, couldn't have been more proud of our teams, which we so love to watch and play for!
