Friday, November 18 brought St. John's back to MSG for the Consolation Game of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. That night, our team faced the Texas A&M Aggies. Although the Johnnies trailed throughout the game, things got very exciting as they caught up and even led at a couple of moments in the final few minutes; however, Texas fought back hard, and we suffered the excruciating loss by 1 point, with the final score being 58-57. Although this was a great disappointment, I will fondly remember this contest as it was the first time I got to witness the agitation and suspense of a very, very close basketball game.
